Bucket Truck Training

Course Overview: 

Bucket Truck Training is a Heavy Equipment training course required for anyone who will be operating a bucket truck in a workplace environment. 

Learning Objectives & Specific Outcomes 

This 3-day Bucket Truck Training course combines classroom experience with hands-on training.

In-class, participants learn relevant provincial and federal bucket truck regulations, inspection techniques, safety tips, and conditions affecting truck operation. In the hands-on portion the instructor demonstrates proper operator procedures, covering topics such as boom and bucket operation, maintaining vehicle balance, and more. Trainees must pass a written exam and demonstrate proficiency with the machine in a hands-on practicum to obtain their certificate.
