Course Overview:
Dozer or Bulldozer Training is a Heavy Equipment Entry Level Skills Training course required by anyone who will be operating a Dozer in a workplace environment, such as large-scale construction or mining.
This 4-day Dozer Training Course combines classroom experience with hands-on training.
In-class, participants learn relevant provincial and federal dozer regulations, site and equipment inspection techniques, preventative maintenance, and general safety tips. In the hands-on portion the instructor demonstrates proper operator procedures, covering topics such as startup and shutdown procedures, steering and positioning, and earthmoving techniques. Trainees must pass a written exam and demonstrate proficiency with the machine in a hands-on practicum to obtain their certificate.
