This 2-day (16-hour) course is designed for anyone in a supervisory role responsible for the safety and wellbeing of their team. Through a blend of interactive lectures, group discussions, and hands-on activities, participants will gain a clear understanding of their legal responsibilities, the principles of hazard assessment, risk control, incident response, and how to foster a positive safety culture.

• Legal, moral, and financial reasons to manage health & safety
• Hazard identification, risk assessment, and documentation
• Supervisory responsibilities under Canadian OHS legislation
• Emergency planning and incident investigation
• Building effective management systems and safety culture

Participants must pass a final exam with a minimum score of 80% to receive certification.
