Course Overview:
Construction Safety Training course certifies trainees with a Construction Safety Training System 2020 and SiteReady BC Certificate which permits them to work on a construction project or site.
Construction Safety Training is an Entry-Level Core Training course. Trainees learn the basic safety fundamentals of working on a construction site, including regulations, common potential hazards and safe work practices.
This 1-day course is offered in-class. Participants learn about Federal and Provincial construction safety regulations, worker and employee responsibilities, and hazard management. Topics such as PPE, manual lifting and hand tools are also covered, in addition to emergency preparedness. Trainees must pass a written exam to receive their certificate.
Specialized job-specific modules may be available as an add-on to the basic CSTS course.
