Course Overview:
First Aid Emergency course certifies trainees with a First Aid (Emergency) Certificate which showcases the individual's preparedness for emergencies that might arise in the workplace or at home.
Emergency First Aid is an Emergency Services Training course. Trainees learn basic first aid and CPR which are mandatory skills for emergency situations.
This 1-day Emergency First Aid course combines in-class training with hands-on experience. Trainees learn about the EMS system and the Check>Call>Care order of operations. They then learn how to respond to airway blockages, breathing and circulation emergencies, cardiovascular emergencies, and how to perform basic wound care. Trainees must pass a written exam and may be evaluated on simulated emergency scenarios.
Blended Emergency First Aid is a combination between online learning modules and in-class training and testing. With blended learning, trainees can take the majority of the course online, only needing to come in for the hands-on practical portion of the course.
