Joint Health And Safety Committee OH&S Part 1

Course Objective:

Joint Health and Safety Training is an Entry-Level course. All workplaces with 20+ employees require a health and safety committee. Trainees learn the role of an occupational health and safety committee and how it functions. They also learn how to identify and control workplace-specific hazards which aids in the development of health and safety plans. Successful candidates will be able to serve as a junior member of a Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee.

Learning Objectives & Specific Outcomes:

This course introduces new members of Joint Health and Safety Committees to the fundamentals of occupational health and safety. In addition, this course can be used by current committee members to refresh their knowledge of the topics.
