Course Overview:
Snowmobile Operator course certifies trainees with a Snowmobile Operator’s Certificate equipping them with the skills needed to operate a snowmobile safely.
Snowmobile Training is an Entry-Level training course. Trainees develop the skills to safely operate snowmobiles on various types of terrain and learn how to manage hazards such as thin ice, thick foliage and hills.
This 1-day Snowmobile Training Course combines classroom experience with hands-on training.
In-class, participants learn relevant provincial and federal snowmobile regulations, safe operating conditions, general safety tips, and basic first aid. In the hands-on portion the instructor demonstrates proper operator procedures, covering startup and shutdown procedures, steering and more. Trainees must pass a written exam and demonstrate proficiency with the vehicle in a hands-on practicum to receive their certificate.
