Rescue Operations Training - Confined Space & Rope Rescue

IRWIN'S Safety offers a comprehensive Rescue Operations Training course designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge required for effective rescue operations in various environments. This program ensures that trainees are prepared to perform basic confined space and rope rescues under supervision, aligning with industry standards and safety regulations.

Course Objectives:

The primary goal of this course is to certify participants with a Rescue Operator’s Certificate, equivalent to NFPA 1006 Level 1. This certification authorizes individuals to conduct basic rescue operations in confined spaces and high-angle scenarios under appropriate supervision.

Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion, participants will be able to:

  • Understand and manage rescue scenes effectively.
  • Develop and implement rescue strategies and tactics.
  • Identify and utilize appropriate rescue equipment, including knots, anchoring, and rigging systems.

The 5-day Rescue Operations course combines classroom instruction with hands-on training. Key topics include:
