SPRAT Level 1

Course Overview:

SPRAT Level 1 is designed for those who have no previous industrial Rope Access experience and will be working at heights using a rope access system. At the end of the course, students will be able to practice Rope Access tasks and basic rescues under the management of a supervisor.

Learning Objectives & Specific Outcomes:

A Level 1 SPRAT Certificate holder will have an understanding of rope access programs, related policies, procedures and regulations. This course will prepare you to complete rope access tasks following the supervisor's instruction. These tasks will include rigging a simple structure, load sharing anchor system and executing a standard rescue.
