Tower Rescue Awareness

Course Overview:

Tower Rescue Awareness is designed for students working in industrial or commercial environments with towers, such as high-rise buildings, cell phone towers, or tower cranes. It equips students with a strong knowledge of rope equipment, climbing skills, and new techniques for tower operations (less than 300 ft. high).

Learning Objectives & Specific Outcomes:

Students learn climbing techniques specific to the different types of towers. They learn how to classify them and control presented hazards. In addition, students revisit working at heights concepts and learn about the different regulations associated with working on towers. 

The Awareness Level course provides individuals with an understanding of various hazards, use of equipment and rescue procedures.
