Course Overview:
Tower Rescue Operations course is designed for students working in industrial or commercial environments with towers (high-rise buildings, cell phone towers, tower cranes etc.). It provides students with a strong knowledge of rope equipment, climbing skills, and mechanical new techniques for operations on towers (less than 300 ft. high).
Students learn climbing techniques specific to the different types of towers. They also learn how to classify them and the hazards associated. In addition, students revisit working at heights concepts and learn about the different regulations associated with working on towers. Students also learn how to apply their knowledge of already understood mechanical advantage systems in tower rescue scenarios.
The Level 1 Operations course provides individuals with an ability to identify hazards, use equipment, and perform technical rescue operations in towers.
